Edible mushroom production

The production of edible mushrooms on land or in remnants of forest acahuales (in this case cloud forest) allows adding value to the surrounding forest and generating conservation strategies by diversifying productive activities and promoting production for self-consumption or sale . It is an activity aimed at strengthening food self-sufficiency, carried out by groups of people who live in peri-urban areas.
